2020… what a year! It won’t go down as one of the good ones but, we’ve managed to get through it and have much to be thankful for. Thank you to all our families for the patience and support you have shown the school this year, we truly appreciate it.
Goodbye and Farewell
This morning we said farewell to several St Joseph’s staff members, students and families.
In the spirit of God’s love, we pray for each of you,
as life leads you on a new path.
May God’s spirit continue to renew in you the call to act justly, to love mercy and walk humbly with God who lies at the heart of all you do.
May our God of love continue to bless you
and may Jesus live in your hearts forever.
Amen
We farewelled our current Year 6 students. It has been a privilege to witness them grow and learn. I hope that their time at St Joseph’s has been enjoyable and that what they have learned here will hold them in good stead as they progress through life.
For a number of students and families, today ends a lengthy association with our school as they move to other locations. Parents, thank you for entrusting us with your children & for your many & varied contributions that have enriched our community. We wish you every happiness for the
future.
Have a safe, happy and Holy Christmas
On behalf of the staff of St Joseph’s Parish School, I wish you all a very safe, happy and Holy Christmas and holiday period. I particularly thank and extend our best wishes to those families who are moving on from St Joseph’s at the end of the year. To those families returning in 2021, we will all be looking forward to seeing the children back at St Joseph’s when school resumes on Wednesday 27th January.
God bless!
Megan
